VWM Wealth supports a wide range of charitable causes and events and believes passionately in giving back and positively contributing to the community.

Since 2014, Director, Grahame Hopper has raised over £15,000 for Sands and the Brain Tumour Charity through his marathon efforts.  VWM Wealth have previously raised over £6,000 for Quarriers and Action for Children.  We are currently supporting The Beatson Cancer Charity and MND Scotland.

Beatson Cancer Charity

A cancer diagnosis is a traumatic and life-changing event for all involved, and Beatson Cancer Charity exists to support and enhance the experience, treatment, and outcomes of the thousands of patients treated at The Beatson and related facilities every year.

The second-largest Cancer Centre in the UK but also the busiest in terms of clinical activity, with a catchment area of around half of Scotland’s population, the Centre provides all of the radiotherapy and much of the chemotherapy for the West of Scotland.

MND Scotland

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This may cause someone to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink, or breathe unaided. There is currently no cure or effective treatment for MND and the average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 18 months.

MND Scotland is the leading charity in Scotland providing care and support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, as well as funding vital research into finding a cure.

The charities that VWM Wealth has supported in previous years:
